I’ve just discovered a very simple secret to becoming pregnant and having a healthy pregnancy - at any age.
Are you also temperature-charting? Temperature charting can tell you when you are coming up to ovulation by watching your temperature rise post-AF; it can also tell you when/if you have an anovulatory cycle.
you may ovulate early like me i hhave a 28 day cycle i ovulate twice day 7 soon after my period and day 14 mid-cycle i only know that because i take my ovk’s soon as af stop
you may ovulate later or earlier in your cycle than the traditional 11-18 day mark. I am on cd 8 right now, and think I am ovulating. I have also been known to ovulate as last as CD22… just BD every other day for a month, and that way you know you didn’t miss your fertile period. Good Luck & Baby Dust!
You either did not ovulate that month, which can happen, especially if you’re an older woman trying to conceive. The other possibility is that you tested during the wrong time of day. Was it between 2-8 pm, which is the recommended time to test? Some recommend testing twice a day so as not to miss the sign of ovulation altogether, it can happen so quickly and then be gone.
Are you holding it for four hours? Not drinking any water? When are you testing? What type of OPKs are you using?
If you didn’t detect any LH surge, you either haven’t ovulated yet, or you missed your surge.
