Temp shift is when you have a temp above your coverline, peak day = last day of fertile cervical fluid, and dry up is the day after peak day. According to FAM, it is very typical that ovulation occurs on the day BEFORE the temp shift, which is also typically the day the dry-up occurs (that rule varies for women more than the temp shift, temp shift is a more reliable deciding factor than cervical fluid or OPKS). Oh and my personal conclusion about OPKs is that they are worthless if you are trying to use them to determine when to time the hanky panky. By the time they are positive, ovulation could have already happened, or will happen very shortly, which doesn’t give your hubby/bf’s swimmers much time to get where they need to go.
