So I went and bought a Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test?
Posted On June 25, 2010 In Clearblue Ovulation Test
My last period started on Saturday, and lasts normally 5 days, but this cycle it only lasted 4 days. I get my period every 28 or 29 days (although in the month of June, it was 15 days late).
I know that the usual time a woman ovulates is btw 12 and 16 days after her period starts (when on a 28 day cycle).
In your opinion, when should I start testing? On day 10?
I have a feeling I don’t ovulate in the "normal" time.
What is your advice?
And, has anyone used this test, and actually become pregnant?
I have been TTC since February, I am 29, and my husband is 30.

I’ve just discovered a very simple secret to becoming pregnant and having a healthy pregnancy - at any age.
If it is your first month to use an opk, then I recommend testing (in your circumstance) 12 dpo. If you have a 28-29 day cycle, then more than likely you will ovulate on cd 14, 15, or 16. When you learn when you are ovulating, then you can just test like the day before you usually ovulate and you won’t waste tests. Another recommendation that I have is maybe try opk strips off the internet because they are much cheaper and you can buy in bulk and test as much as you want. Baby dust
i agree with kayla429. i am currently using the digital ovulation test as well. however, i would suggest not using the strips. they were very confusing for me and hard to read and they never told me when i ovulated from what i could read….lol
although the digital test is expensive i think its worth it if i can actually read it.
